Olaf Hartig and Dezhao Song are the recepients of the 2015 SWSA Distinguished Dissertation Award! These are the winning dissertations:
Olaf Hartig, "Querying a Web of Linked Data: Foundations and Query Execution."
Dezhao Song, "Towards a linked semantic web: Precisely, comprehensively and scalably linking heterogeneous data in the semantic web."
Last week we posted the registration rates. Stay tuned, registration should open later this week.
Also, we have recently unveiled more information about the program. We announced the keynotes, the accepted papers, and the dates and times of all of the workshops and tutorials.
The deadline to submit posters and demos have been extended to July 7, and the deadline to submit Industry abstracts is July 10. Also, the workshop have various deadlines between now and July 15.
We have now updated the site with information on the conference venues and available hotels.
The 8th International Conference on Knowledge Capture (K-CAP 2015) is taking place October 7 - 10 in Palisades, NY, located right outside of New York City. Even though the two conferences are not physically co-located, it is possible to attend K-CAP in Palisades, NY and make it in time to Bethlehem, PA the day before ISWC starts.

ISWC received a total of 273 submissions. 175 papers were submitted to the Research track, 37 papers were submitted to the In-Use and Software track, 37 papers were submitted to the Dataset and Ontologies track and 26 papers were submitted to the Empirical Studies and Experiments track.
Paper notifications will be sent on June 20.
